The voice list depends on your browser and operating system. Select a voice suited to the language of the passage, then listen for names or unfamiliar words that may need a different pronunciation.
The visible interface provides Speak and Stop. It does not show audio download, word highlighting, volume, or pause/resume controls, so do not depend on those features here.
Try a short section first. Hearing text can provide another way to review it, but speech output does not verify grammar, meaning, or pronunciation. Browser behavior can also limit long passages.
Browser speech synthesis does not guarantee offline processing. Some voices can use a remote service. Check your chosen voice and device policy before entering confidential text, and use approved accessibility tools for requirements this page does not meet.
